Founded in 1995, Physical Chess is operated by individuals who have been in the fencing-equipment industry for decades. Since 1995 Physical Chess offices moved between New Jersey and New York. Although we are back in New Jersey, growth has forced us to move again to a much larger space better equipped to handle our huge stock. We manufacture and purchase our equipment in large quantities, so that we are able to pass the savings on to our customers.

Further more, Physical Chess is operating independently. In years past we have partnered with other fencing companies and this slowed us down. The decision to be without partners has enabled us to better handle our customer's specific requests and provide faster more reliable service.

Our vision is to provide fencers with quality equipment, a high level of customer service and the best price. We carry a wide range of equipment to accommodate everything a fencer needs whether you are just beginning or going to the Olympics.
